Intro and Mint/Cacao

Daily Smoothie Review.

Ive got a months worth of smoothies. Matt and Jess have asked for updates. This seems like the easiest option. Ill try to review taste, texture, general impressions. and if this becomes a tiring process. Ill also keep you posted on any issues on the back end (poop). Im only using these for lunch. I like dinner and I like eggs, but im hoping this will help get a little more balance in the diet and fewer calories. Weight will not be addressed in these reviews because there are far too many other variables at play and it would be ridiculous to attribute anything to smoothies alone.

Day One:
The website asserted that this smoothie tastes like mint chocolate chip. Thats about right. it was good. Blended easily, took a second to get the liquid ratio right, but it was my first time. Just used 2% moo cow milk as the base cause its what I had around. Ill probably pick up some almond milk or something this week to keep with the vegan theme. Texture was fair. The chunks (I guess the cacao and cashew) gave it abit of body, I kinda liked it. Overall it was like a desert. Nothing really unpleasant. If I got that at Dairy Queen I wouldnt be upset.
Initial digestion: my tummy knew something was different. there were noises. but it calmed down pretty quickly and was never an unpleasant sensation to accompany the noise. So far I cant report on the poop, which I suppose is a report in and of itself. It didnt slide through me.  Satisfaction was........not ideal. I was pretty hungry by dinner. but it did hold me over and I guess thats what counts. I would not choose one of these for a pre-ride meal. I dont think it would go the distance.
Chlorella, I had to look this shit up so I thought id share. Its algae and its about as interesting as you would expect algae to be. But there it is.
